Fero Software Acquires Serving Success Point-of-Sale from Hodgsoft, Inc.

APPLETON, WI -- Fero Software, LLC. announced today that it has purchased the Serving Success point-of-sale system from Hodgsoft Inc. The announcement was made jointly by Kyle Restoule, President of Fero Software, LLC., and Brian Hodgson, President of Hodgsoft, Inc. Serving Success is a point of sale system designed for restaurants, bars, cafe’s, taverns and coffee shops. Developed by Hodgsoft in Madison, WI, Serving Success has been sold primarily in Wisconsin.

"Acquiring Serving Success gives us an immediate opportunity to take a mature point-of-sale system and deliver it to a national sales channel. " Restoule said. “The application is very solid and will compete head to head with any of the other national POS systems. But where we intend to differentiate ourselves is in delivering a superior Customer Support solution.”

As founder of TechNosis, Inc., Restoule has spent his career developing world class customer support solutions.

"Joining Fero will give the existing development team an excellent opportunity to continue to improve Serving Success," said Brian Hodgson, founder of Hodgsoft and the architect of Serving Success. Hodgson will continue in his current role as VP of Development for Fero Software. “We already have an iPad solution that our clients and their customers love. A serving staff member can take an order table side and before they step away it’s already printing in the kitchen. We are going to build on this type of functionality with a goal of being the premier POS system on the market.”

James Wendt, co-founder of Fero Software and Vice President of Sales, also added that “the focus now is to continue developing our sales channel through what we call Integration Partners, or resellers who are responsible for ongoing customer satisfaction as well as initial installations.”

Fero Software will maintain offices in Appleton and Madison, Wis.
